Sadly, the United States Coast Guard appears to be sitting idly by while British Petroleum ‘runs the show’!

Its core roles are to protect the public, the environment, and U.S. economic and security interests in any maritime region in which those interests may be at risk, including international waters and America’s coasts, ports, and inland waterways.

For those who are still not sure of the role and duties the U.S. Coast Guard has been entrusted to fulfill, Rodney Dale Class (DALE Vs UNITED STATES) has researched U.S. law and statutes that define their obligations and cited them June 8, 2010 on TalkShoe internet radio.

However, currently they seem to have abandoned their obligations to the population of the Gulf coastal areas and allowed a foreign corporation, British Petroleum, Inc., to take command.
